Evangelism Training
In August, the church partnered with Christ for All Nations and sent 15 young people to be trained by them, most of whom had no experience with evangelism. They came back very similar to the initial 12 disciples whom Jesus sent out - extremely excited and full of praise at what God had done. “I was so surprised that people were open to listen to me”, “I can’t believe that God used me to heal someone with a bad back”, “I was so scared at first to speak or say anything, but somehow God helped me and I was able to speak and people listened. It got easier the more I did it”. Praise God for these young people, the next generation of leaders and disciples in Cambodia!
Please be praying for them and everyone else involved in the large crusade coming up later this year.

Cambodia School Outreach

The school outreach in Cambodia continues to flourish and grow, under the leadership of Lydia. It has been an amazing grace to have an open door to share the gospel in schools and Lydia is making the most of it! The above photo is a snapshot of some of this activity where she is organising some friendly soccer matches in the school as well as handing out free workbooks to the kids.
Lydia only recently graduated high school, and even though many options are before her she has decided to continue living and serving full time with the church to ensure more people hear the good news and can call on the name of Jesus to be saved. No fixed salary, just basic needs met and a deep love to see her country come to Jesus. Please keep praying for her!

Caring for other believers
A couple of weeks ago, they were able to provide urgent care and support to 2 Christian women Vattana and Samnang who found themselves in a very difficult situation. They had had a conflict with the missionary who provided their accomodation and been kicked out. With no where to sleep and unable to pay rent for somewhere new, strong nation church was able to take them in for a few days and give them a safe place to sleep, food to eat, as well as encouragement and prayer. Initially they were very upset, but thankfully have decided to continue to serve God in ministry and their faith remains strong. Outdom writes, "We are so thankful to Lighthouse for providing these facilities that help many each week and even more in times like this."

Everyone in the church has said a huge thank you for the AC that we helped purchase and install. They are all super excited to be able to meet and praise God together out of the heat. The week after it was installed they were dancing without breaking a sweat! Let’s give thanks with them this gift and blessing. May it be a conduit of greater praise and more people coming to know Jesus!
We have now sent the final amount that was raised which is for a tiled floor. Construction has started this week and will be completed soon.

The 3 new girls who joined earlier this year are fitting in great and getting along well. Last month Ps A facilitated a pizza making course with another missionary who taught all the girls how to make fresh pizza. Rob and Lonna can testify that it was very successful and everyone is looking forward to more pizza in the future!

Rob & Lonna have settled into Chiang Rai now, having rented a house and are well into language study. They both study reading with a tutor for 2 hours each in the morning, followed by lots of time out and about with Thai people.
Please continue to pray for them, that their language will continue to improve quickly and they will create and deepen friendships with Thai people who have the patience to talk with them!

A few weeks ago we focussed on missions during the service and heard many testimonies from the recent trip, as well as sent Rob and Lonna off to Thailand where they will be living long term. If you missed the service you can catch up on it by clicking here.
We successfully fundraised another $10,000 to complete the church building in Khampong Cham Cambodia which will be a great blessing to them and help to continue growing the church. It is such a joy and privilege to live at a time where we can so easily be part of the global church!
Rob and Lonna have moved to Chiang Rai, Thailand, where they will be focussing on improving their language ability for the next 6-12 months before exploring future options. Please continue to pray for them.

Shalom Home - Thailand

Shalom home in Thailand has received 3 new girls in the last couple of months after 3 graduated and moved on. Successfully running for over 10 years, the home operates as a dormitory for high school girls from high risk situations. Please continue to pray for these girls as they go through high school and teenage years. (the baby in the photo is Ps A's granddaughter)
Please pray for Dokmai (far right) who has recently graduated university, but still has no ID documents. The government office has lost the paperwork twice already, so the current plan is for her to travel to Bangkok shortly and lodge her application there directly. Wisdom is needed for the best course of action to take, and favour for new open doors. Until the documents are granted, the university will not issue her graduation papers, nor is she allowed to work in her profession as a sports teacher.

Thailand and Cambodia Dispute
This week a long running dispute over several temples on the Thailand and Cambodia border has erupted into live fire and fighting. So far around 20 people have been killed and more than 100,000 displaced. Both want the demonic power and the prestige that comes from the temples, but we want peace!
Please pray that both leadership teams will soften their hearts and opt for diplomacy quickly.

Ps 133:1

This last month we sent a team of 8 into Thailand and Cambodia for 2 weeks to minister in unity along side our many brothers and sisters there and wow did God do more than we could have imagined!
We started each day in prayer, followed by full days of: meetings, seminars, worship, prayer, house visits, village outreach, pastors gatherings, encouragement over coffee and soccer matches.

Cambodia
Our week in Cambodia was full of love, connection and miracles. The women's seminar was the highlight of many of the Khmer, and a 2 day healing workshop saw many people healed which opened doors into other churches. Churches who had been islands for a long time opened their doors and welcomed connection, and others who had been far away came back with passion and excitement to work together.
Healings

• Lumps disappeared from a neck and breast.
• A bad ankle was healed and make strong again.
• Upset stomach healed
• Nerve pain healed.
• And more! Honestly we lost count of the testimonies.

On the last Sunday Rob was due to preach but didn't get the chance as the testimonies kept going and going one after another. We did however lead the young people in a healing activation where they prayed for each other and 2 out of 7 were totally healed, with another 3 claiming partial healing!

Thailand
Our week here was packed with encounters with Holy Spirit, miracles, love being poured out and lots of food!
An older man, "Jaffa", had a painful gut and was supposed to goto the hospital, however he heard we were there and wanted to see us first. After hands were laid on him all his pain left!
At another house visit, we met a lady who was blind in her left eye, only able to see spots. After hands were laid she got very excited as she was suddenly able to see shapes. After more prayer it became clearer but not totally clear. We look forward to hear the full healing testimony in the future!
This year in many meetings the Holy Spirit was quietening people and drawing them into his presence in a deep way. Many said it was a time of refreshing and renewing.
